The final result of this research and analysis is a "blueprint" of all aspects of your project, including costs and timelines for each individual component. This written plan helps you make informed decisions regarding project priorities and budgeting going forward.

System architecture

Our extensive experience in designing complex databases helps us to build an extremely robust system for managing web content. We often see information relationships that our clients did not envision, and therefore deliver more powerful search and management tools than our clients thought possible.

Interface design

Our graphic design staff has over 20 years experience in traditional and multi-media design. It has been our experience that collaboration with a client's existing marketing team, whether internal or external, is the best formula for success. A thorough review of the industry, the competition and past and current marketing efforts is an invaluable tool for developing a strong online brand.

Documentation and training

We want to make sure that users will be able to use the tools we've given them, so we always provide step-by-step training. We also pride ourselves on providing documentation that is complete, yet concise. We don't use confusing technical terms, during training or in writing.

Ownership

Unlike most other custom developers, Desktop Solutions provides every client with the source code that was used to create their site. We even spell-out client ownership in writing. This gives the client something very valuable - a choice to use someone else. Desktop Solutions sincerely hopes that all of our clients maintain long-term relationships, (so far all of them have) but we never force them to remain with us by holding their information hostage.
